Is the treatment painful?

Due to the formed restrictions and tensions, the treatment is often not pleasant. The therapist moves the joints and stretches the muscles in a new way that the patient has not used or avoided recently. Otherwise, the patient may experience very delicate and relaxing feelings during treatment. These techniques are not painful, but in some cases a slight sensitivity may occur for a short time in the treated area. The patient may feel stretch, warmth, or relaxation.

As a consequence of the treatment, muscle fever-like pain and tension may occur for 1-2 days. Intensive exercise is not recommended during this period because the system is more vulnerable. The body needs time to respond to the condition. Some feel relief immediately after treatment and some only feel better after a few days.
