McKenzie therapy

This is a method which focuses on the examination and treatment of spine injuries and disorders. The technique builds upon active motion tests and exercises.

During the examination the therapist aims at identifying the source of the pain. While repeating targeted movements, the therapist observes its effect on the pain and on the body’s condition. Based on these observations, the therapist could recommend the appropriate physical exercises for practising at home. With regular practise, patients could positively influence their conditions and eventually avoid any operations and recurrency.
